This document explains the process to prepare your workstation to use the Document Imaging module in Profit Tools.
Install Pegasus
- Browse to the "Install Files" folder on your Profit Tools mapped drive and launch the Pegasus installer labeled "Pegasus7.exe" or "Pregasus7_64.exe".
- The password for the installer is "alias".
- Accept all of the default options and proceed through the installation.
- Open Profit Tools and go to Imaging, View Unassigned, and confirmed the window opens correctly.
- If the window Profit Tools View Unassigned window fails to open, try disabling the security software on the workstation, adjust the Windows Data Execution Prevention settings to make sure it is set for "Windows Services Only", and then try running the Pegasus installer again.
