Direct Scanning in Profit Tools requires the use of ISIS compatible scanners and one Profit Tools scanning license per scanner. Other options are available for Workgroup or non-ISIS scanners.
Profit Tools supports a long list of ISIS compatible scanners and we strongly recommend that you consult this list before purchasing a new scanner.

Initializing Scanner Driver
If you are connecting a new scanner or moving an existing scanner from one workstation to another, please make sure you have installed your scanners compatible ISIS drivers on the workstation.
- Download and install QuickScan Pro on the workstation. QuickScan Pro will be used to initialize the scanner drivers on the workstation. Reboot the workstation after the program is installed.
- Insert a document in the scanner, confirm the scanner is powered on, open QuickScan Pro, go to "Scan", select "Test Scan", choose your scanner from the list of scanners, and perform a test scan.
- Open Profit Tools and confirm you are able to scan.
- If Profit Tools is displaying a message that the scanner drivers were not found, please confirm the scanners compatible ISIS drivers were installed the workstation and repeat step 2.
